Lousiana Swampland
Recently I was in Louisiana, trekking about the swamps in a tiny metal boat. The water is still, an occasional ripple is sent out by either a boat or an alligator jumping into the water. I was surprised how beautiful the swamps really are. I went in thinking only about mosquitoes and came out thinking only of it's awesome beauty.

Great shot. I see those hulking cypress trees quite frequently, as I am often on the water photographing the Louisiana outdoors. Were you on a photo shoot, or did you just happen by this?
ReplyDeleteI was with my uncle in his little metal boat. We were actually out looking for alligators that day!
