It's not often one witnesses a spider mid meal, much less often I think does one get to see the whole thing through a sliding glass door. The moth was totally devoured by the time the spider was done.

Boubon Street

A quiet night on Bourbon Street, long after the bead throwing excitement of Mardi Gras. The streets of the French Quarter were filled only with the sounds of a few people checking out the bar scene and the engines of a passing motorcycle.

Laughter

I was at sea world a few years ago and came across a walrus that was quite adamant about spitting up shrimp and sucking them back into his mouth. Of course this is extremely funny to the kids that were up close against the glass!

Celebrity Crush

My celebrity crush, Billy Corgan. I was lucky enough to receive a pretty dope ticket for my birthday last year and was able to go and stand less than ten feet away from The Smashing Pumpkins for a full 3 hours......best day ever! I had to shoot this with a brand new camera I had no idea how to use, since they only let you take in point-and-shoot cameras to these kinds of venues.

Venom

I guess I have a thing with semi-dangerous animals, I love how the scales blend in a bit with the dirt. It makes it a little scarier when you see the eyes and realize it's not just dirt and rocks.

Sunflowers

I ran into some sunflowers at the Desert Museum. Most people were looking at all the cacti and the animals, meanwhile I stooped down and got this shot!

Bar Lights

Curving lights on the wall at Level Bar and Lounge. I've had a few shoots there and one day I decided to take a few of my own and this is one of my favorites!

Lousiana Swampland

Recently I was in Louisiana, trekking about the swamps in a tiny metal boat. The water is still, an occasional ripple is sent out by either a boat or an alligator jumping into the water. I was surprised how beautiful the swamps really are. I went in thinking only about mosquitoes and came out thinking only of it's awesome beauty.

Red Legs

I stepped outside one day and say this composition. Luckily the grasshopper was not scared off by the noise of my lens! The toolbox makes for an interesting background in my eyes

Hi-Speed

I took this during a shoot at Hi-Speed Rods and Customs, a classic car shop just south of the downtown area. I love classic cars, they have such smooth lines and a air of history around them.
