Just wanted to try something fun with my photos, and this is the result. Simple to do, but I really like the way it looks. It most definitely is not a pendant, but that was the first comment that was made about it. :)

Striped Socks in a Box

Yes! Those are actually my feet coming out of the box! I've been experimenting in Photoshop recently, and this is what happened. (I also happened to have a huge box on hand!) I really did not invest any time in creating an interesting background, just thought I would play with the box before recycling it.... although I did end up hanging on to it, as it may come in handy...... :)

I'm pretty sure I watched this one gorilla for about an hour one day, I could swear he was posing now and then. Who knows what was really going on in his head that day. Maybe he noticed me, maybe not.

On the way up to Fisher Towers. It was a nice trail, not too long, not too steep, but full of beauty! On the way down there was a choir in this same spot, and the natural acoustics of the rock were amazing.

I was at sea world a few years ago and came across a walrus that was quite adamant about spitting up shrimp and sucking them back into his mouth. Of course this is extremely funny to the kids that were up close against the glass!

Celebrity Crush

My celebrity crush, Billy Corgan. I was lucky enough to receive a pretty dope ticket for my birthday last year and was able to go and stand less than ten feet away from The Smashing Pumpkins for a full 3 hours......best day ever! I had to shoot this with a brand new camera I had no idea how to use, since they only let you take in point-and-shoot cameras to these kinds of venues.

I guess I have a thing with semi-dangerous animals, I love how the scales blend in a bit with the dirt. It makes it a little scarier when you see the eyes and realize it's not just dirt and rocks.

Lousiana Swampland

Recently I was in Louisiana, trekking about the swamps in a tiny metal boat. The water is still, an occasional ripple is sent out by either a boat or an alligator jumping into the water. I was surprised how beautiful the swamps really are. I went in thinking only about mosquitoes and came out thinking only of it's awesome beauty.
